Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The staff were super friendly & accommodating. The service was very fast, & the food was delicious. We loved their freshly squeezed orange juice & the option for dairy free cappuccinos!"
"Awesome view over the shoreline, helpful staff, great food with plenty of options, and a large wine list."
"We stopped in because a member of our group was looking for a Gluten-free option for lunch. We looked, went on and bought a couple of amazing gluten-free pastries. They were amazing. We all came back form dinner and it was AMAZING! They catered to the gluten-free requirements with no extra effort required. Great pasta options in the gluten-free and regular menus. We all totally enjoyed the meal and the ability to handle both regular and gluten-free requirements. The outside might not catch your eye, but the food should. Coffee, pastries, meals, and so much more. The staff were so pleasant and cheerful it made the experience even better. Best meal in Rome so far, by far."
"Excellent place to eat. They have many gluten-free options and are delicious. I have ordered the image as a starter and then also a gluten free carbonara. It has been simply delicious. They also have a gluten-free beer option, among other things. Great friendliness of the staff to explain and offer numerous options to please the customer."
"Thank you Jimmy at ciardi bar ristorante! I had the carbonara(gluten free) and my wife had the cacio e Pepe, The prancetta on my dish was nice and crispy, and the pasta cooked perfectly, not over/under cooked, plenty of sauce. For my wife's dish, the pasta was cooked properly and she says the dish tasted amazing, The service was carried out very well, Jimmy catered bussed and promoted for people to stop and take a bite (I believe they should have stopped!) For dessert, we had the gluten-free berry cheesecake, and it was stupidly creamy, absolutely perfect. I have never had something that tastes so good, I give this 5 stars because in my opinion, restaurants shouldn't be expected to go above and beyond to reach for stars. I believe this sets a standard, Thank you again! Ciao ciao!"
"An amazing restaurant that has more than what meets the eye. Being tourists, we were not expecting a restaurant that had a lot of delicious pastries at the counter to also have a variety of dinner options, including lobster. The lobster pasta was delicious! We got pastries for dessert that were amazing as well!"
"I deeply recommend. Friendly staff, delicious coffee and amazing pistachio croissant! What else do you need in the morning in Rome? Jimi is the best!!!"
"They were all kinds of wonderful selections on the menu but we were there for just a light lunch. I had the pizza slice and you get to select the type of pizza you want. I chose the one that had lots and lots of mushrooms-- it was delicious! The serving size was more than ample. My sister had the burger with fries & again the serving size was more than ample. The French Fries were absolutely wonderful! We both had a small draft beer, which was Peroni. Since it was such a nice day the door was open and occasionally two little birdies would flit in to see if they could find a crumb on the floor. That was fun to watch! We would definitely go there again and would recommend it to anyone."
